Parkson Ria in Ipoh. CLOSED
Super Kinta in Ipoh. CLOSED
Ocean in Ipoh. CLOSED
Bingo Town (Arcade Haven) in Ipoh. CLOSED

Surprisingly Yik Foong Complex is still operating! WTF??!!
*
Parkson Ria in Ipoh (near Yik Foong) was Ipoh Emporium (BEFORE turned to be Parkson Ria). BOTH CLOSED
Parkson Ria in Ipoh at Ipoh Garden was Metrojaya (BEFORE turned to be Parkson Ria). BOTH CLOSED
Yik Foong was known as GLORY among Ipoh people - still operating but waiting to closed (nothing there!)

Yes, there is an arcade on the top floor, my dad used to bring me there. Nowadays swarmed by lalachais and lalamuis....There are many good tailors inside Yik Foong as well ! I heard they'll renovate yik foong, but not sure la....

Those stalls only open late at nite...to cater for those people after clubbing 1....

WOW! I didn't see that coming! FFFfffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu~~~Parkson Ria near Yik Foong? I only know Parkson Ria in Ipoh Garden (Now-Pizza Hut) at the cross junction. I don't know those names in Chinese. I'm more familiar if it's in English or Bahasa Malaysia.

For example, Canning Garden in English, Taman Canning in Bahasa & Kwai Wor Yuen in Cantonese (I didn't know the name in Cantonese at first but an old lady teasingly told me "You live there for years and you don't know its name??!!" I was speechless...Imagine a young 23 years old being pawned by an old lady. Thank you. Lesson well learnt.

HELL YEAH! It's textile these days for Kwong Fatt. Breakfast at the nearby kopitiam there. It's Kwong Fatt all the way. They have two floors only right? Eh, what's about the one located near Kamdar, Ipoh? Just right at the traffic light junction...What's the name? Hmmm....

Remember Grandys? (I'm not sure if I got that name right) It's a fast food restaurant located near Super Kinta. I had lunch there once. LOLZ!

I admit that people go to Yik Foong for IT stuff - rempit go there to buy stickers for their motorcycle
Yik Foong placed to shop computers stuff - Greentown Mall to shop for handphones and for malays shopping dont know what the heck during Raya
Ipoh Parade placed for chinese youngsters buy their baju-baju imported from Hong Kong and malays youngsters lepak at the food court
Jusco - well, only for people to hang out (I guess the ONLY place ppl go out in Ipoh - BORING!!)

WTF?
Why many Ipoh people in this forum!!!!

Sh*t! I've left Ipoh LOOOOOONG TIME AGO and moved to Kuala Lumpur the Sin City
