Another highly compressed format is LZX which was a futher development of LHA. The LHA format was widely used in Japan, and also in the Amiga computer community years ago (together with the newer LZX format). Do you know that Microsoft's CAB compression (during the Windows 98 days) are based on LZX format?

i'm using winzip. easy interface but it doesn't support .rar and others

well i don't know the best but i use WinZip 9.0 and it works find to me... it makes zip files and unzipes them...
