I'm not a Timeline owner but a similar Aspire 4745G with i5 430M 2.26GHz.
Just wanna know is my system getting hot after almost a year? Also, isn't 20% battery wear a bit fast?
For half a year I use the laptop regularly for studies.

The temperatures are not too bad. Is it a hot day when you take the screenshot? My Asus idle temps are around 40C to 45C. During regular usages (browsing, watching movies) the temps around 50C to 60C (depend on room temperature).Just wanna know is my system getting hot after almost a year? The battery wear level a bit ridiculous for almost a year notebook. Anyway, I didn't find it surprise though. My old acer notebooks (14" & 17") also loose battery capacity very fast (less than one year). Did you always let the battery charges drained very low?

overclocking will not damage your GPU /CPU immediately if u go in small steps
Usually only increases temperature of the core
With sufficient cooling, GPU/CPU can be overclocked to extreme values
Problem is , with crysis 2 , cant even maintain a stable 30 fps during heavy scenes . ( My 4820tg ) ,
Overclocking a little to improve FPS and gain a few degrees heat wont harm you rightt
Just make sure your laptop has sufficient space to cool itself .. i put 2 erasers underneath the laptop on the rear to lift it up at an angle to increase airflow ( helps a little )
Yeah, I agree. GPU/CPU has their own safety mechanism that can prevent hardware failure from occurred.Usually only increases temperature of the core
