Heat management:
This is what I like most about this notebook. Normal wifi browsing (flash, whatever) after an hour, CPU is around 40-48 Celsius. GPU is 45 Celsius. Gaming and under heavy load for a few hours, CPU max @87, GPU max @82. I can see temperature rapidly going down once game stop. The 2 fans working really really well.
The max temp was recorded by letting CPUID Hardware Monitor run in background while play game.
I updated the Bios and ATI driver yesterday, CPU still the same as observed previously. But apparently GPU become 48 Celsius during idle... i m thinking of refreshing it back to stock BIOS... but i can't be sure if it's the driver or BIOS... it also could be that the thermal paste wearing off....
my 3dmark06 score did improved after the update...
how is the temp compare to others notebook?
hi, feel like temp read error for me, my acer 4730zg, with older or lastest bios, the cpu temp would stuck forever 29c at hwmonitor from cold boot, but just 1 restart the laptop temp would back to real temp around 45c+-Heat management:
