Still skeptical about HD6670..
Since from the Acer itself is HD6370 and HD6550..

But if it does HD6670, read one article it *might* being GDDR5, seems like can reach HD5850 GDDR3's level ?

NICE choice! if u can post ur review and benchmark on this model here, it could be one of the first in the Internet! there is very little info about 6550, except link from sifu lee that it ll be a successor for 5650... may be a modest 5% increased of performance...

if not too much to ask, GPU-z will be very useful to find out about it's spec... heheheh rclxms.gif

welcome to the club!

Did the switching works after you disable the startup in msconfig ?
Or is this the first time you try to switch after disabling the startup ?

I was attending some meeting the other day, so, decided to test the battery lowest discharge rate. i tested lowest discharge rate with and without ePower service running. the notebook is running nothing else but Powerpoint, no wifi, BatteryCare turned to Power Saver, Windows Power Plan is High Performance (default - unchanged - think BatteryCare overwrite this) here is the result:

1. Without ePower - lowest 5.5 watt
2. With ePower - lowest 4.4 watt!

user posted image

Warning: this is only eyeball observation

Conclusion: Can't confirm if ePower service is really useful for 3820TG, but i ll let it run whenever i m in battery mode...
