since i didnt see any performance stuff, i m gonna wait a little before updating...

now going to 11.5! u told me if no problem leave it ma.. having problem when installed 11.3 cos i use desktop driver then change back to mobility then ok liau.. 11.4 got some error pop up.. then restart + installed 4th times only this things didn't pop out! mobility_vista_win7_32-64_ccc this installer successful installed but ccc always showing previous version.. so i tried use catalyst_mobility_64-bit_util auto dl! then get vista64_win7_64_dd_ccc_ocl.exe then only no problem.. while install the screen will go blank for few sec this procedure mean success! if not blink then still complete install but version still previous version.. weird lah.. so which 1 should be correct? i think vista64_win7_64_dd_ccc_ocl.exe this should suit for my laptop!

One of my Radeon HD4570 feature is Stream processor which I understand to improve video decoding. I really forgot about this feature until someone asked me.


Interestingly, with ATI Catalyst 11.3 & 11.4, Stream information in AIDA64 is empty. With older version, 10.11, I can see the Stream information in AIDA64 (see picture above). With CyberLink MediaEspresso, the Radeon logo appeared while converting video.


Anyone interested testing this on their notebook?

Using 11.5, this mean got Stream ?

i m using Catalyst 11.5a, Aida64 has Stream and converting in MediaEspresso has the Radeon logo... i never really compare the speed...

since 11.5a has some improvement for 6000 series, i flashed my bios into '6550' and check if got improvement or not...

actually, after flashing it still report 5650... but running on 1.05volt and bios profile for 6550. in this mode, i notice i have additional option in Catalyst... like ability to chose between Quality or Performance for Auto Brightness control... i dont have this option in 5650... but after i check with 3dmark06, performance still the same...

so, i flash back to default bios...

i dont have Black Ops... i am too old to play any FPS.. headache easily...

to iPad.

With hardware acceralation enable (but didnt enable TrueTheater (good?)), took me 34 minutes! why so long de? i also notice my GPU performance only peak once in awhile....



at least, the the video is viewable, not like using VLC in iPad, which is damn slow...
