Travelmate is the business model, its only equipped with nVidia GT330M and it also comes with matte screen...

any difference in terms of specs, price and batt life? besides the fact that it's lower gfx card and matte screen.

aiming for thisthis model actually, the native reso is only a notch higher than the 3820's

It is pricier, battery life should be the same or similar...
It also go docking port, fingerprint, and better built...

Well, its a matter of settings, if its no blackbar, then no need to set it...

i myself am using a keyboard protector, as i tend to have long nails, it slips on the keys / in some cases, might scratch away the letters on the keys LOL.

anyway, any PC shop should sell it, its just a sheet of silicon , i had to cut mine down to size to fit the 4820tg without covering the speaker or the touchpad though

sadly, after hours of fiddling with it, i gave up, the driver will not install as per the method he gave , guess ill be waiting for driver updates instead

Edit : Catalyst 11.2 seems to have crash problems, i keep getting ATI driver stopped responding , then the screen will hang and i have to restart... ill revert back to acer one tomorrow and see how it works

I have a question,

My WIFI powered on before I reach the logon screen. It doesnt connect to any network yet. I hope to disable it at startup, but still can be switch on thru Fn+F3.

IMO, having a wireless adapter switched on waste energy.

Have restored to latest acer ati / intel driver,

yet . i still get the same stupid problem , random crashes .

stupid drivers, i'd say.

The Wifi auto on is still something have not been solved....
