hi all... i need some opinion on a project that i'm planing..

The meaning of digital song book is..
i wan to display the song lyrics with chords on my screen mounted on my current book stand. [ it's strong enuf for a 15" mac book pro,] so it should able to hold the weight of 17" monitor.
and i use Media Player with WIFI to send the image /pictures to the encoder so it will display on the monitor.. so i can reduce the wires to only the power from the stand to my back stage..

mayb my explanation not that clear... there's a picture below.. please give some suggestion...

Why not use 2 computers?...the one you have to remote the other computer?

Wont just put your Macbook there better? most of the chord/lyrics is in text file isn't it?

You would need to convert it to image file, and use ur wireless media player to output it to the monitor, sounds like a double hassle to me.

bt the problem is we have abt 6 stands... so if wanna put a macbook on each stands it not gonna b a good idea.. $$
yea.. thinking of text file.. i'm not sure that media player can read text file of not...and i need the text file to have a different colours.. the words and the chords.




my idea of using wireless media player is bcoz i can reduce the wires to only the power... we need it as portable as possible if can no wire attached
if i use a pc with VGA Splitter and send the signal to the monitors i need at lease 2 cables join to the screen ( Power & VGA cable)..

I dun think it is possible...cheaply......sorry, I dun think a media player can do those functions...unless you know someone who can hack its system

Txt is non formatted text, you cannot formatted them in different colour.

After all printing it (the good old ways) seems the most viable one, elses a 2nd pc will be easier.

print screen the chord/lyrics in image might work too, just additional hassle

wat is not posible?? media can play image.. and the screen can show the image of it.. with lyrics and chords as well...

err..its not as simple as you think...image of course can be display in the media player, but the timings, color, sync etc...gonna be a problem.

Tell us what actually you wanna use it for more specific, probably we got better opinion.

Do you intent to use it for a band (for example sextet) so all the 6 LCD will show the same thing....or is the LCD gonna show different-different images, or something like that?

But for me its better you get a cheapo computer that you can remote from your main computer.

can pause the image..and the colour not gonna b a prob... n sync might be a problem... so this the the issue that i post this page.. that how to transfer the image as there's a media player comes with wifi... i'm thinking that i can share the image[of song lyrics} from my pc and send it over to the media player to b show / play in the media player/...
i want a individual setup for each of the screen.
