If Rooney leave Man Utd, there are talents waiting to take over his place like Macheda, Chicharito, Welbeck, Bebe and Diouf.

QUOTE(Mayomythical @ Oct 20 2010, 11:51 AM)
Last season's performance was not just down to him. Without Valencia putting in the crosses, without Vidic and Rio being solid at the back etc... he would not have made as great an impact as he did.

In any case, I'm not pissing on Rooney's contribution last season, which I would always thank him for. What I cannot take is his attitude towards the club, his self-absorbed non-contribution this season, and his lack of professionalism (compare this with Giggsy, Scholes, and even Ronaldo in his last year at United).

No one is indispensable. Rooney will be gone one day (in footballing terms), but Manchester United will carry on, and regardless whether they're in the Premiership or in the Nationwide Conference, this fan is UNITED FOR LIFE.

+1

Without team work, Rooney would not have scored all the goals.

Let's show some dignity, guys.

1) Rooney hasn't spoken. This issue is far from over.
2) Nobody said Rooney was shit when he scored 30+ goals last season. Why is he suddenly shit now?
3) We're all hurt. We're angry and we want to lash out. That's not the Man Utd way. We're not RAWK. We're Man Utd. Let's show some class. flex.gif
PS: For those who don't belong, don't even think of starting a fight here. For those who do, don't bother replying to him if you have nothing good to say.

Agree with you. Rooney has yet to comment abt Sir Alex comment. United will always be United with or without Rooney.

as far as i remember..

we were struggling to find a rhythm in our gameplay in the 1st season after  beckham left.

we were struggling to get goals after RVN left..

we were struggling to get Ronaldo's replacement until Rooney hits top form at the middle of last season..

Can't attract top player to the club. Come on Rooney, even if you have 11 top players in a team and 11 of them can't gel into a team is also the same. It's all about team work.
