QUOTE(sHsIkuA @ Oct 20 2010, 09:53 AM) Wait, what? Where do you get this number from? Also it's not that simple as "match without Rooney, win with huge percentage, etc". The reason with all of this is with Rooney leaving, the whole team will be impacted, on and off the field. Sure we might win games but the team overall morale and spirit will be affected. I don't know if this is the reason on the recent draw streak but what I am saying is, he is still one of the most important players in the current squad, or should I said "was". Oh well I am waiting for his response as well. Don't forget how much it would also affect the fans. Team morale relies on fan support too. If the fans get wind that the 30-40 mil we'd get from the Rooney sale would go to service debts (or rumored to), surely the green and gold movement would be up and running again splitting camps and disrupting the team's concentration. Personal gut feeling tells me that it has something to do with the media pressure. Those sh**s are real b***h. Look at those celebrities like Britney and how it affected them I just hope that Rooney's change of mind is not affecting the others in the dressing room. There might be those who would start thinking that United is a team in decline and would start calling their agents this summer. A lot of writers are attributing Rooney's attitude to the fact that United has not shown much interest in the transfer market since the Ronaldo sale. Although SAF has repeatedly mentioned that he didn't see any value in it, it might have placed a seed in Rooney's mind that perhaps United doesn't have what it takes to compete with RM, Chelsea, Barcelona, and MC in the transfer market. His refusal to sign on August 14 coincidentally fell just a few days after the Bebe buy. Tell you guys what, we've sold the best of them before, we've rebuilt and gotten better. If it takes 4-5 years, or longer than that; even after SAF is gone and we're playing in the lower divisions. My kids, my grandchildren and me: UNITED FOR LIFE |

This is going to really kill my mood for the entire day. Just wish the're some cock and bull tranfer story of Torres or some big name to provide a silver lining to seeing Rooney go. Even if they weren't true. I thought Rooney was going to be the next Giggsy, or Scholes, playing off the next big English 18 year old striker in the hole when he is 34 years old. Still wearing the number 10 of course.
Honestly how much money do you really need? F**king agents man.. Just youtubed Rooney's debut and had a massive wet cry (well I would've if I were at home but at work now). |

Honestly, I'd pay JOS 80k or somewhere relatively similar to that amount although a lot of people would believe that it is just media speculation. We aren't even clear about Rooney's signing package so how are to know about JOS? It's important to note also that he is a defender across the line of the back four and defenders generally tend to play beyond their early 30s, so a firm contract now with a reasonable salary for a player who would find himself playing regularly as cover to various positions is a good deal imho. If he were to leave, loads of teams would be lining up to offer him 60-80k a week to plug their various injury problems. He is relatively a fit lad and is a constant performer. Chipped in with a few vital goals and assists too. Liverpool and...erm Liverpool
And the theory about the strip in England being of better quality than the ones in Asia is sort of true. Although this is actually prevalent for most Nike and Adidas products. They have different lines for Asian customers and Europeans. I've compared them side by side and although the cut, design etc is the same, the fabric is totally different. But since UK postage is relatively cheap and fast! (14 days for most of my e-bay buys) why bother with local al-ikhsans and nike megastores? |
