you have an account and to some extent a reputation as stake here as you dunno wat the haxxor would to to your account, plus next time you might go *whoops* and key in your SC2 or Diablo3 into there unintentionally and get locked out from play.

You might walk cool when you bought the game and show off to fwens but wat if they know you are getting locked out later becuz of some stuff that you dun wanna bothered with now.

that's the problem. never use battlenet email with your everyday email. use a new email account just for battlenet so you know any wow email is a FAKE.

You also can check the No.2 disclaimer, you don't need retail wow copy to play the Beta, the beta itself is a standalone build.
The first thing is to check,if you got those kind of cata invite from e-mail,login to ur battlet.net account 1st and check normally if u confirm got the invite, there will be wow2 account displaying cataclysm list in ur games.If not,confirm that e-mail is fake.

Beta invites only appear in your Battle.net account. Don't think they will send to email. Do a full scan of your computer to make sure no malicious stuff. After full scan change your pw.
