This is kind of weird cause one after I came from work I found that my TV (Philips 42PFL5403) is showing a blue screen when switched to a HDMI input. For a moment I thought the problem is with the Onkyo 606, which it was. But when I connected my WDTV directly to the TV it wasn't functioning either. After couple of trial and error I found that two of the three HDMI ports aren't responding at all. I am only surviving through my sole HDMI port. (HDMI 1 is working while HDMI 2 & Side HDMI isn't working) I want to know if there are anyway to rectify the problem which I can do myself as the warranty period is over. I would also like to know if anyone had this problem and perhaps were able to deal with it. Thanks everyone in advance. BTW: My Onkyo 606, which was connected to Side HDMI, got its HDMI ports also become unresponsive due to a voltage surge or something during the same time. |
