Experience with UMMC.
Docs and staffs are good and gentle (can't recall their names). Very supportive during labour. Went in for normal delivery but ended up with emergency CSEC. Stayed in ward for total 3 nights (shared room with 3 others).
The best part is, total cost is only RM950.

QUOTE(thanh_thao285 @ May 8 2015, 02:03 PM) Hi, I would like to ask more information about UMMC. How can I delivery baby there? is there private or gov hospital? If Gov hospital, should i need to check my pregnancy in Gov clinik to get the record ? or can check any clinik? Sorry because i m not local then jst need some more advise. I recall seeing a notice showing the amount for non-Malaysians which are priced higher, but generally still cheaper than private hospitals. Went to UMMC when water broke even though never visited there before. Whole pregnancy had check-ups at both gov clinic and private hospital so I am not so sure if this is a pre-requisite to be allowed to deliver there (I doubt so because hospitals are meant to accept all patients). You should make a trip to UMMC (or call them) to find out the answers to your other questions as I do not have experience in those, and maybe post your findings for sharing here

QUOTE(jessc111 @ May 8 2015, 04:02 PM) Is husband allowed in the labour room? QUOTE(andrekua2 @ May 9 2015, 01:22 PM) I think I can share on this... My wife went to UMSC (UMMC shared OT with UMSC). Husband are allowed into labour room for normal delivery but not allowed into OT incase you need C-Sect. For my case, no. Apparently, the nurse said we need to inform well in advance for them to make arrangement.
