does anyone here have an experience dealing with columbia hospital setapak?

There 's another gynae that did the deliveries too. His name is Suhaimi Isa. Both Suhaimi also do deliveries. But i choose Suhaimi Isa instead after read several reviews about him.I can say Suhaimi Isa is a good gynae too. He listen and always there for you as i still remembered an incident where the nurse has made a wrong appointment for me.. then they called up Dr. Suhaimi Isa and he appearead thereafter.


First checkup is usually very expensive. My first check up cost me around RM300, then after that it mostly RM130 - 150.
It depends what kind of ultrasound you did..2D is the cheapest and 4D is the most expensive.
I only bought Calcium med from Columbia while the rest of the meds i bought it from pharmacy. It is cheaper that way.

I agree on this. They will turn up asap once they received a call from the nurse. Nurses are very helpful and not fierce. hehehe..
In terms of costing, i did ask last time. they said for normal delivery is 3.5K and c-sect is aroun 6k and above...
Gonna deliver my baby here too.. I'm in my 31 weeks now.

Yes if you buy the med from columbia then that's the usual price i guess. Yeah i remembered i did my 4D in Columbia last 2 months and it cost me ard RM190+.
Have you check out their ward? I was thinking to do the tour on my next visit which will be in 2 weeks time.

I see... does this mean that when the time come and hubby need to accompany, he wont have a comfy couch to bunk over? OMG...
This gonna be hard then... and does the alley to go to the ward looks scary.. you know i always have this imagination of spooky alley everytime i visited a hospital... i dont want to be left alone when the time comes... im such a coward... scared of ghost...

and does this mean that columbia setapak is lack of single room? meaning we have to share? and does the husband allow to sleep over if we share the room with other mommies to be also? OMG.. now i'm curious and suddenl y i have alot of questiion to ask!

selayang hospital also provide the FPP plan. I went there and checkup their plans. previously all my checkups were done in columbia asia setapak.
apparently selayang hospital turned me down as according to them i need to register and book the room when im still in my 4 months of pregnancy. im now in my last trimester. so looks like i have to stick to columbia ( doc will c-sect me) or gov hospital ( have slight chances to deliver normally)

so total damage is 9k for both you and baby???



looks like it.. i heard the same story too.. but according to my friend who have gone 3 c-sect... the doc didnt advise her to IKAT also because according to the doc her skin is quite thick.. can still go for another one...
