Hi we just got a very wonderful findings last Wednesday. Test kit shown 2 lines which indicates that my wife is pregnant.. Happiness were all around us as it will be our new experiance in life. At same time alot of questions jammed up our mind.
Few of it will be baby delivery.
1. Private/Govt
2. If private which hospital
3. When read through this thread more things jamming up my mind.. 😳

Anyway my wife will be in 6th week this week. We planning to go and see the specialist in 7th/8th week. Since we are around Bandar Sunway area, SDMC, SMC, Assuntha, KJMC, KPJ Selangor n Columbia Bkt.Rimau in our mind so far for private options. Looking at Gov, i have Putrajaya n PPUM in mind.
Also from the reading of this thread i found out in private if normal delivery range between RM3k-RM5k, of c-sec between RM7k-RM9k. If normal come to c-sec then not below RM8k for sure.
Still undecided which hospital to go for but Assunta n KJMC in my mind due to my budget+some good reviews i read about that 2 hosp.

Oh yah.. Too excited till forget to ask..
Anyone with ongoing follow ups in KJMC n Assunta hospital?
1. Which doctor you are dealing with n how's their professionalism?
2. Current indicated charges for normal delivery and also for c-sec?

If i planned to go with Putrajaya Hospital for delivery,
1. May i do the check ups outside of Putrajaya Hosp?
2. Can the check ups done on weekend or its strictly on weekdays only?
3. Its good to hear we can choose the doctor. Do you mind the doctor u choosed n will you recommend him/her?

Hi Im planning to go under FPP scheme in Putrajaya there are 3 doctors. Dr.Azmi, Dr.Hamida n Dr.Hazmin (correct me if im am wrong).
Appreciate if any of you can share your experiance with any of the doctors above.

Thanks Sonerin. I just made appoinment with Dr.Hamidah in June 2014. Putrajaya will take apoinment once the pregnancy is 25 weeks and above.

All this while I am bringing my wife to KJMC for check up and all was going well. Now my wife is in her 38 weeks and the last 2 check ups I can see the doctor starts to frequently talk about C-Sec which make me feel the doctor is not genuine.
Of course the doctor will say this and that which make 1st time parents like us worried.
Just wonder is this a normal practice in private hospital?

Well KJMC have package for normal birth RM1990 and C-Sec RM5990. Of course there are T&C applies.

Yes just now only i read the same details in other blog. Lucky I decided to go ahead with PPUM although I kept it for an options only previously.
My wife safely delivered baby boy ob 7.09.14. If was a very normal delivery without using any special tools.
Total cost RM969 because admitted her 3times. 1 day baby movement not felt. 1 day bleeding and another day delivery. Went through some hassle but it really worth it.
