Forgot the name of the doctors
After hearing many good reviews of giving birth in Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Klang from her friends, my wife decided to try.
1st daughter:
My wife went to Klinik Kesihatan Bandar Botanik to do regular check-up. Doctor noticed her uric acid levels was too high therefore suggested her to give early birth and required her to admit to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Klang immediately. She planning to drive to the hospital since was quite near but doctor forbidden her to do that. An ambulance car was called and my wife was admitted to the hospital ward in the afternoon. The ward was shared with 20 other patients. My wife talked with other patients while passing the time. I visited her and pass her some food from time to time.
The next day doctor apply the 1st medicine (i don't know what it is) so she can give birth early. She felt nothing at that time. In the afternoon, the doctor gave her the medicine for the 2nd time, she finally felt some discomfort. The discomfort went on for hours and she was struggling. The nurse told me to wait outside as I could not do anything. She was finally ready to give birth and was sent to the other room around midnight. I waited for 1 hours+ outside the room. The security guard pitied me so she help me to check my wife's status by going inside the room. After a few minutes, she said both my wife and daughter were safe. I waited another hour and finally saw my wife and lovely daughter. My wife told me that she gave natural birth after 10 minutes in the room. Not as painful as she expected.
The following day, we were packing our stuff and waiting for the doctor to do a final check of my baby. I went to collect the medicine and settle the bill. To my shock, the bill was RM200+.
2nd daughter:
After there was some pain in her tummy, i brought her to the same hospital. The doctor said she was ready to give birth and admit her to the same ward. Around midnight, she was transferred to the other room to give birth. My wife gave natural birth again to my second child which is also a daughter. The next day, I went to collect the medicine and settle the bill. This time round was lesser which was less than RM100.
Conclusion:
My wife was quite satisfied with the service provided by the doctor and nurse. The bill was super cheap. The reason we chose the Government Hospital was if the private hospital encountered any complications, they will transfer you to the government hospital after they deliver the child. The private hospital still charge you one lump some of money and transfer you to the government hospital
