Maternity ward are current under reno, it shifted to level 8. a bit old but clean and well maintenance. is ok for me.
a good thing about Tungshin, is the hospital encourage breastfeeding.. it is important for the breastfeeding mum.
some hospital saying "they encourage breast feeding" but they did not do so...
my fren have an bad experience in Pantai Ipoh.. her child when back to hospital due to baby jaundice. they advised the hospital that her baby need to be breastfeed and human milk are provided to hospital. however, the nurse there offered a formula milk to her baby!!!

here is some pro breadfeeding services provided to me by Tungshin:
1) skin to skin contact. (this is very important as a 1st moment for breast feed)
2) more than 1/2 of the nurse in tungshin trained for breastfeeding.

Hi All,

A first time mummy here with currently 20weeks old pregnant...I'm in a depressing mode as I had an argument with my husband on whether to deliver in private or gov (he's opting for private) but cost wise, I think not all gov hosp. has bad review as I've read here, what I worry most is what if something goes wrong/complication might happen during labour, then might end up with higher cost to pay up with..till now haven't choose a hosp to plan to deliver cry.gif  cry.gif  besides, he's staying in penang and i'm working in KL, is it ok to still travel when you're about to due that time? I plan to give birth here in KL cos I can't be taking few weeks leave in advance to jus go PG and wait for my baby to deliver  blink.gif I heard that UMMC was quite good, any recommendations?

So confused and blur on what to do~ rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif

Hi, my fren as a teacher given birth to two of her daughter in HUKM, she is having a good review for the HUKM. I not sure about HUM but do go to Putrajaya as I heard a lot of foreigner get birth there.

depend on your condition, some of the Dr. will give you one week off on your 39 weeks. but I think it will be too burden for you to travel 4~5 hours trip during that time.

Are you a local and staying with your family in KL? if your family in KL I think I better birth at KL as your mum able to take care you and your baby during the confinement month.
