The term 'gynecologist' for specialist whom deal with childbirth is not actually correct. The correct term is 'obstetrician'

To add, I opted for single room with shared bathroom.
But the first day no one was on the other room so it was kinda like having your own bathroom |

QUOTE(auhckw @ Dec 28 2010, 11:26 AM) Dont want to imagine My specialist almost used the vacuum on me but my hubby stopped her. Baby was out in less than 30 secs after that - I'm still in awe on how much he trusted me hehehehe. Added on December 28, 2010, 11:41 amUpdated the list! QUOTE(Kasumie @ Jan 14 2012, 12:12 AM) This is the rate for the ukm specialist is it? I heard in ukm they had one is semi private and another is like private hospt.I do not know what is the diff. But I checked on Dec which is the semi private, for natural birth is 700plus and c sec is bout 2k. Someone pls clarify what is the diff for both the centre in ukm that priced differently For vaginal birth :Government staff with GL = free / minimal fee Other people (not "semi private") = 700 plus UKMSC (specialist wing, considered "semi private") = 2-3k UKMSC still share delivery room with other patients.. only wards and specialist different. I can vouch that specialist wing nurses are lousy. |

QUOTE(hanizhan @ Dec 17 2015, 09:12 AM) got ampang gov hspital.. I don't mind going to gov hosp if can request for female only staff.. It's not possible cause housemen also need to learn how to deliver etc. That's my only reason to go private check in sunday..check out monday.. only rm35....service good... throw a lot of money for delivering baby, just wasted.. gov hspital still can do what... Ironically O&G is a female unfriendly specialty due to its nature - 24 hr duty, high litigation, very non family friendly etc.. Salute to all female O&G drs out there. |
