Since many here go to private hospital, do you also check at gov hospital? If not, can you register your child later without the red book?

QUOTE(Chester @ Nov 30 2017, 06:44 AM) Since many here go to private hospital, do you also check at gov hospital? If not, can you register your child later without the red book? Hi , I've got many friends register just for the red book then skip the check up.I myself urge my wife to check gov and private , because the private hospital is 2 1/2 hours away , so in case if there is emergency , I can go to government hospital, also take note if you planning to give birth at private clinic, if there is anything complicated , they will send u to gov hospital as well . Btw gov hospital save up a lot of my money, all of check ups, jects are FOC, and my private hospital doctor will just refer to the red book. |

QUOTE(Chester @ Nov 30 2017, 06:44 AM) Since many here go to private hospital, do you also check at gov hospital? If not, can you register your child later without the red book? well, we did both.actually for my wife, we went to KKIA, and also a private clinic. Then also a few times at a private hospital. KKIA seems to be more comprehensive, but level of satisfaction and experience of doctors not so good la. its OK. private? it depends, but i like the clinic i go to, and becoz my wife delivers in her hometown, we also go to the private hospital there. really satisfied with both. red book really helps the private hospital. they used that. also, no need to do some other tests as KKIA did that already. save money. also, KKIA will send someone to visit you at home, visit the baby as well after birth. in my wife's case, we follow with KKIA in KL, then back in her hometown, they just transferred her files to the KKIA in her hometown for follow ups. smooth, no hiccups. |
