I bought an Xbox in australia and I am bringing it bck to malaysia. I am wondering if i buy the game from malaysia, can I play it wif my xbox? I am not sure how the region code work.. Thanks for any helps!

Europe + Australasia = PAL
Asia = NTSC/J
Japan = NTSC/J
North America = NTSC/UC

Just in case you are wondering, games here are mostly Asia.

Aus consoles are PAL region

so the Xbox360 u gotten from Aus is region locked to PAL, means you'll be able to play games which are from PAL region only, or those region free games.

Games sold in M'sia are mostly from NTSC/J region, and it's hard for you to find a PAL region games here.

But there are a few PAL region console owners here, maybe you guys can setup an exchange club to exchange PAL games

My suggestion would be: sell off your console before coming back here, and buy a new one here to save you all of the hassles of finding a PAL game or region free games.

You may wanna try finding guys who don't mind trading ur 360 with an asian one.
