Starting to think about it... I'd have to say that tudung girls don't look anywhere cute.... unless you're trying to say that you'd rather date a bald girl rather than a normal girl with fashionable hairstyle XD (take away personality for this case, afterall, people look for physical attractiveness you know? =p)

look at the middle east for instance, the women there covers every single inch of their hide with cloth, and by golly, the countries there is one of the largest rape cases in the world...

its a matter of perception. everything has an artform. it just depends on how you look at it. modern tudungs today have their own designs, patterns, colors. as for the raping a piece of paper.. i dun get it..

lastly, i don't understand the holier than thou message, perhaps you feel you lack faith in your religion or are not religious enough and so the more religious types intimidate you?

either ways.. yea you're right. i had this malay classmate once and we nicknamed her ninja (out of good fun really, no anti race/religion agenda involved). also the one with the eyepatch is how i remember this fierce bm teacher i had in std 5.. she doesn't wear eyepatches but she carries this huge metal ruler and definately has this murderous pirate look:P

are u sure about the rape cases in US/africa? i dun think so... either way, theres still rape cases there in the mid east, and if tudung can stop rape, its still not doing its job.

and about the hollier-than-thou remark, i think its to show how ppl goes around trying to show how 'holy' they are when the fact that the most crime cases in the country is contributed by THEM...

And another thing, wearing a cloth over your head does NOT make anyone holy or more religious...
