QUOTE(EXkurogane @ Oct 19 2010, 09:50 PM) N8 killed N900 and N97 actually. Especially when N8 and C7 is better than N900 in terms of hardware specs and only difference is OS. no way...cmon...proc from N900 can easily OC to 1ghz...N8 C7 how to beat ==lllN900 memory paging up to 768mb...no way beating that too ==lll N900 resolution...no way beating that too... MicroB browser make N8's Nokia browser a total shame ==lll Qwerty keypad... can you install Android on N8 like N900 can you have Meego and Maemo dual-boot(soon on N900) on N8? ==lll but still N8 trash in cam like totally |

QUOTE(andrekua @ Oct 19 2010, 10:27 PM) Hehe... its a waste... you should tried it too. Nokia has proved that they has not intended to dump N900 by offering us PR1.3 update and mosy importantly Meego 1.1 & 1.2 is cleared to be on N900 with dualboot I think the only reason I didnt try N900 is because I scared Nokia dump them like 7710. True enough... |

QUOTE(EXkurogane @ Oct 19 2010, 10:30 PM) I never said im smart and im not a tech geek either, but this is reality. I observed it myself. Usually people go into shop, want new phone, the retailer will intro the newest one and the customer buys according to his budget. Those who wants the best, the retailer usually recomend the Nseries, and for our case now, N8. and they will markup the price to make it seem like that phone is very highend ==lll lol.?.lots of those non tech geeks think Iphone is the godly phone ==lll why because of the price and the cool factor for having a half-bitten apple ==lll Added on October 19, 2010, 10:36 pm QUOTE(andrekua @ Oct 19 2010, 10:32 PM) N8 only got 256m' lar This post has been edited by hengguowei: Oct 19 2010, 10:36 PM |

QUOTE(nicholasbeh @ Oct 20 2010, 04:17 AM) i would like to analyse symbian failure.symbian is a very mature os and it have frenly UI which is well recognized for several years.why it falls and market share dropping fast?symbian flagship 2010-n8.680mhz arm11(omnia hd 600mhz arm cortex a8), 1st Nokia 256mb ram(omnia hd 256mb ram), 1st Nokia 3 page homescreen (omnia hd 3 page homescreen), 1st Nokia hd video recording(omnia hd,hd video recording), 1st Nokia 12mp camera(satio), 1st Nokia amoled screen(omnia hd amoled screen)...unfortunately omnia hd and satio represent symbian for year 2009 but not Nokia. Ppl never bother about symbian product produced by Samsung or SE coz most of the ppl in the market feel symbian=Nokia. How if omnia hd+se spec produced by Nokia last year?symbian will never get criticized and symbian will never fall. Looking at the spec offered by n97?its a sign of symbian fall. However, the n8 comes with several feature which is FIRST in the market such as USB-OTG,HDMI output, largest sensor in camera phone which are add value to n8. (luckily n8 selling at 1690 which is considered very worthy)N8 should be launched at yester-year and n9 should be launched at yesterday in order to remain competitiveness. Its a late/delay of 1 year. I recommend Nokia dun kiam siap on spec for next symbian or meego flagship device and please dun delay too long for releasing. Nowadays consumer are very conscious bout spec and pls put high end spec for flagship device. Nokia could have been great if they at least try considering what consumer said (only useful ones of course) and discuss about it I really hope Glen,Radiance or symbian/Nokia top management ppl are looking on this statement. PS:when BBXiong and AndreKua play on my omnia hd:OH MY GOD!IS THIS SYMBIAN?lol.same response as me when 1st touch of omnia hd Added on October 20, 2010, 4:17 am please pm him I totally hope they don't limit the hardware of N9 but if Symbian is said to me good at using resourse fine...it's alright but Maemo/Meego I don't suppose so Give better hardware to make Nokia devices even better than what is only good now hoping to see Nokia gain place in the market again like last time...wanna buy phone? Nokia lar A loyal Nokia user Added on October 20, 2010, 7:24 am QUOTE(rahuldave @ Oct 20 2010, 06:49 AM) Guyz This does not come from a N8 user...just trying to make some use of myself As mentioned yesterday, my battery is still showing 100% as at today 6.48am. Last I charged was yesterday 7.40am. I have restarted the phone several times, but the result is still the same. Anyway I can check the percentage of battery left? if Symbian^1 apps are compatible, you may use Energy profiler sorry if that's not approriate...other users please dun flame me This post has been edited by hengguowei: Oct 20 2010, 07:24 AM |

QUOTE(pirateguy @ Oct 20 2010, 09:38 AM) That happens when I connect the USB to my phone, suddenly change to default theme. Pull out, and it changes back to normal. Install it into Phone Memory instead of Mass Memory...that way your theme won't change to default It's because when you plug into comp under Mass Storage mode, it'll shut the connection between your phone and the Mass Storage hence your theme will change to default...so install themes into Phone Memory if you don't want it to change to default Added on October 20, 2010, 9:44 am QUOTE(BBXiong @ Oct 20 2010, 09:41 AM) that one is Symbian's issue...i always suspected the battery bar is 3x longer but then just don have the space to show them, hence use 24 hours no drop, suddenly in 3 hours drop to critical hahah...nice try This post has been edited by hengguowei: Oct 20 2010, 09:44 AM |
