This should by useful for Android/Google users, to sync Google Contacts to Nokia N8.
Method 1: This will use your Mail For Exchange for sync. This will sync contacts, calendars, notes, tasks from your Google account. BUT, MFE can only be used with ONE mail per device. If you just wanna sync Contacts, better use Method 2, just in case you wanna use it with exchange emails in the future. http://wapreview.com/blog/?p=7964&cpage=1 Method 2: This if you're using Sync in Setting/Connectivity/ Data Transfer. Can ONLY sync with Google Contacts. http://www.noeman.org/gsm/s60-v5-symbian-o...kia-5800-a.html Both methods can set auto-sync if you prefer to do so. I used both method to test, and it works. But I'm using Method 2 now. This post has been edited by emino: Oct 22 2010, 10:03 PM |

QUOTE(andrekua @ Oct 22 2010, 10:04 PM) They both support vcf... so if you backup to SD and save them in Other>Contacts, and load them with Copy from SD, you will have your contacts in no time... Sure, but you need to do that from time to time. But if you have a single point to manage your contacts (like Google contacts) and it can be sync autonomously to multiple devices, why not?BTW, it does seem like the enthusiasm die down a bit liao... welcome user to post their review and give Nokia hints on where to improve. |

QUOTE(xaiemanx @ Oct 23 2010, 07:15 AM) since the N8 come out,,,this thread become slower n slower...usually really kuai2 go new V...kekeke Pre-N8 release everyone was excited. Therefore the thread move along very fast.btw,u guys make me takut le to buy this phone early because of the problem...i also feel weird coz some of u no where near to those problem mentioned n the rest yang kena,,,kena betul2 kao kao..hurm Now that its released, theres nothing much to be excited about. Seen that, done that and all. But slow thread is a good thread. That means not many people are experiencing problems with this phone. In my experience with mobile phone threads, people usually posts only when theres problems with their phones, or when theres new developments. Others are usually just comments on those issues. |

Did the tags on the MP3 all correct? it might have different details, or none at all.
