 HELP - core speed lowered, intel E4500

pls help!!
im still noob in overclocking
my core speed is ok when idle
but the speed is lowered when i put it on prime95 stress test
i already disabled C1E n EIST
put power option on "High Performance"


CPU : E4500
CPU Clockspeed : 2.8GHz(254MHz*11) when idle,then lowered to 1.5Ghz(254Mhz*6) when stressed
Motherboard : Ga-G41m-ES2L
RAM Model : Kingston + Team group
RAM Capacity : 1GB X 1, 2GB x 1
Cooler : Intel stock cooler
PSU : 750w cooler master
GC : EVGA GTX 460 1GB

maybe cause ur temp is too high and there for the cpu lowers the clock speed to cope. You are using stock cooler anyways. Try off any settings which warns the cpu of high temp.... BUT WARNING: MIGHT BURN CPU

oh..thanks a lot
i disabled TM2 n the problem gone!!
but cpu temp went up to 85c on core temp
it already like that b4 i disabled TM2
is it ok to leave it like that??
