QUOTE(firedauz @ Oct 20 2010, 10:58 AM) how much is that long box of shuttles? One tube of 10/12 shuttlecocks (YONEX) is about RM80+-. Please don't buy those cheap ones as you'll regret. Doesn't matter if you are good in badminton or not, a decent tube of shuttlecocks (Protech) can be bought about RM60+-. Anyway, Sunway is rather far from my place and I'm off work at 6pm. Well, the above is just a suggestion. If you are looking for a two courts for the badminton session, two tubes are enough. For those intermediate players, a game of two sets will need 4 to 6 shuttlecocks. Cheerio!

QUOTE(khelben @ Oct 20 2010, 11:04 AM) I have 2 tubes, bought from him some time ago. 1 red and 1 green (goose feather) Performance wise, it's fine for me. but 1 of my friend says it's too heavy, meaning the shuttle will fly out of court if it's hit too hard compared to other brands. Aside from the tips from Joey, dont buy expensive shuttlecocks also. Waste of money since most newbs will hit the feathers rather than the head.

RM40 to RM50 is your answer. Shuttlecocks tend to be pricey these days. It can be "recycled" (those still in good shape) for the next gathering.

There's first time for everything. Would you rather do it now or when your children ask you to demonstrate in the future?

I have two badminton racquets, YONEX & Protech. String tension at 27lbs & 28lbs. I'm not sure if you guys are suited to use that at such tension. LOLZ!
For girls, better to bring along a bottle of water...in case they don't have a mini mart there selling isotonic drinks and stuff. LOLZ!
