Pull your lens to the longest zoom available. Then stand as close to your subject as possible, until your composition is right (either you want tight framing or wider shot). That is one "cheating" way to get bokeh, rather than having lens with larger apertures. tongue.gif But then still works. People will think you have a bigass expensive lens. tongue.gif

But with this trick, the further away the background from the subject, the better

Of course, if you want even better bokeh, you still need to get lens with larger apertures, like f/2.8 or bigger to have even more blur. smile.gif
