QUOTE(bobby85 @ Oct 19 2010, 10:47 AM) Ooo A33 how is it ? whats your verdict ? well it depends on what level of edit you wanna achieve. if its something important like wedding, use jpg+raw. if jz simply, then use jpg. if you have enuf space and dont bother, jpg+raw. |

QUOTE(bobby85 @ Oct 19 2010, 02:03 PM) well...this is our first jump into the world of DSLR from the conventional P&S... still learning ... but it's a great cam none the less .... ^^ not quite right. btw...normally wad is the flow after u guys capture a photo?can help?? for example:- capture in raw-->transfer to pc-->convert raw to jpeg-->do some editing-->resize-->upload to flickr/facebook its raw > pc > edit > save in jpg > upload. you need to know how to edit raw files first. its not as easy as jpg due to it not storing color and stuff. it gives you the control, rather than jpg which gives you everything you need to upload it without much edit. but for the average day to day, a jpg is fine, coz nobody bothers, nobody knows. if it is your job, like masuk newspaper or magazine, then raw. |

bobby : you can try it out yourself, dont be afraid to use it.
if you use picasa to view your photos, a raw will appear dull and terrible, but sometimes picasa will apply color to it. but picasa is just guessing the color and it will difer from the jpg you just took. raw gives a better range of edit. like very deep edit. and it will not suffer loss, unlike jpg which is already compressed, via in-camera edit. |

fansoption : what kindof post effect do you use ? seems that you purposely made it look dull to what is suppose to be colorful people/objects/stuffs.
