where got expensive? the a580 is suppose to replace the a550. and a550 was launched at RRP2999 back then~ and i dont see ppl complain 550d or d5000 expensive when its launch~

i'm using the non-USD 70-300 tammy on my a700~ not bad for a cheap lens~ i am more interested to see the USD into the tamron 70-200 f2.8~

i dont think its as sharp as the sony 70300G~ lens optic glass is different~ i having the tamron 70-300 non-USD~ its quite sharp for the price u are paying~ and i love the aperture stays long enough thru out the focal length~
