QUOTE(albnok @ Oct 25 2010, 11:30 AM) zstan: Show us a picture of your Tamron 17-50mm F2.8 DiII VC for A-mount - that is what you mean by latest version, yes? It doesn't exist on the Tamron website. yup² show us..It's your A300's fault by the way for the backfocus. 8tvt: Cons being that it doesn't focus with the NEX-3/NEX-5 with LA-EA1 adapter. might thinking to get one or just grab the new prime.. can't make a choice at the moment.. Added on October 25, 2010, 11:43 amerr.. is it the old one or got a new revision? This post has been edited by 8tvt: Oct 25 2010, 11:43 AM |

QUOTE(albnok @ Oct 25 2010, 02:36 PM) 8tvt: zstan's one is the first version, no revision. ok thanks.. now sure the sigma can be used with the NEX adapter? The Sigma 17-70mm F2.8 EX DC OS HSM is good for video, with in-lens stabilization. i google around 17-70mm F2.8 EX DC OS HSM has F2.8-4.. later got prob if max zoom on low light.. haha must be extra careful with those model no.
sometimes confusing.. but Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM reaching Rm3k - pengsan! maybe for that range - tamron would be the suitable choice.. try to play with the kitlens.. if still cannot.. must make a move.. |

QUOTE(ieR @ Oct 25 2010, 06:08 PM) btw diffraction usually happen after really high aperture, like F16 onwards... some starts only at F22. but i cant imagine those macro shooter that shoot at f16, their photo are sharper then ever! for the kit lens.. what's the 'safe' aperture range for landscape shooting?i try auto normally set at F10.. Added on October 25, 2010, 6:32 pm QUOTE(evanttc @ Oct 25 2010, 06:23 PM) Brother sister. Sifu sekalian.. http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1613504 that's kitlens also.. but from the older model no. sony camera..Want to ask the kit lenses, 18-55 compare with the lenses( link up there) Same usage? But more zoom length?? Affect focus speed? This post has been edited by 8tvt: Oct 25 2010, 06:32 PM |

QUOTE(ieR @ Oct 25 2010, 09:31 PM) 8tvt play around, F8 is standard, actually, F8 is standard for FF (due to their low DOF on large sensor) meaning, at F5.6 on aps-c, u can get almost near F8 FF dof. alright, not to confuse u futher... depending how wide u shoot, the longer mm u shoot, more aperture is need if u need everything to be sharp. F8 is just a sweetspot i use, some can get really sharp photo at F5.6. F10 is not an issue, or F11.... we do those lighttrails with F22. ok.. most wide 18mm.. can get sharp from F5.6 - F16? i tried F22 becoming blurred edy.. |

QUOTE(Anly @ Oct 26 2010, 11:20 AM) do u mean the battery indicators doesn't show out at all? mine can show 100%...i not yet try to drain the battery down..so duno the indicators is function normal or show 100% all the time.. IINM without the chip.. the indicators just @ 100% until flat..with chipped will report accordingly.. i'm not really sure though.. but i think i read about it somewhere.. the chipped one sell higher abit.. |

QUOTE(evilhomura89 @ Oct 26 2010, 11:26 AM) i not sure, i thought all same.. until i bump with that issue somewhere..the seller should can clarify about the item i guess.. even mine also not same model no. as the A55/A33 and even the older version.. so it's vary and quite hard to seek the info.. Added on October 26, 2010, 11:33 am QUOTE(Anly @ Oct 26 2010, 11:28 AM) the price is not tat higher with chip also..from ebay can get around rm45 or less..the no-mention got chip or not type sell cheapest rm38.. yah not that high price.. maybe around Rm10 like that.. that's why just buy with the chip..Added on October 26, 2010, 11:29 am normally it will stated decoded which mean got chipped if i am not wrong.. maybe the new battery version they did like that to cut cost.. never bump with that with camera released before NEX.. u know what.. since the day i get the DSLR.. and spend alot..
why not i just proceed first with a decent setup (ofcourse step by step).. coz with a lack of other gadget, the dslr camera output becoming like a normal pns camera.. i need those good lenses and flash, atleast i can produce something not like normal pns camera.. otherwise it's remain useless to spend much at the first place.. coz i can do right with normal camera.. |

QUOTE(Anly @ Oct 26 2010, 01:48 PM) that's the reason why i buy the flash eventhough just bought the camera few months before..ofcourse POISON will direct to F58.. i just found that at the moment F42 will suit me for the time being.. so those decent words is for that.. it's not that pricey and still can be optimised.. and it's meet my current requirements.. - not that pricey - can do landscape - can do portrait - can test the flash - can set manually - can do wireless - enough blast - not that bulky - etc |
