btw diffraction usually happen after really high aperture, like F16 onwards... some starts only at F22. but i cant imagine those macro shooter that shoot at f16, their photo are sharper then ever!

8tvt play around, F8 is standard, actually, F8 is standard for FF (due to their low DOF on large sensor) meaning, at F5.6 on aps-c, u can get almost near F8 FF dof. alright, not to confuse u futher... depending how wide u shoot, the longer mm u shoot, more aperture is need if u need everything to be sharp. F8 is just a sweetspot i use, some can get really sharp photo at F5.6. F10 is not an issue, or F11.... we do those lighttrails with F22. the diffraction is not a big dig if u dont think of it as a big deal take it with a pinch of salt.

do u mean the battery indicators doesn't show out at all? mine can show 100%...i not yet try to drain the battery down..so duno the indicators is function normal or show 100% all the time.. 

is there any way to check if it's chipped or not?

the price is not tat higher with chip also..from ebay can get around rm45 or less..the no-mention got chip or not type sell cheapest rm38..

normally it will stated decoded which mean got chipped if i am not wrong..

utilize 1st your camera then only decide to buy...i bought mine after nearly a year using my camera...tak mati pun not using flash...

with iso 12800 and shoot at f3.5 at 1/10, i don't see why you can't shoot in dim light nowadays.

he's buying a580 so i think can hentam iso kaw2...might as well he fiddle 1st with his camera,save a bit more than buy a new flash...

i tried the built in flash..really can make human skin like ghost! so bright..and pale..
