ya! very nice and is that using F1.8 as well the that raindrop pic?

all the raindrop series using same 50mm F1.8 lens..but no shoot at F1.8 la...hehe...at F4 ~ F 5.6

ahpingko: I'm talking about the Clubsnap link. All boring shots of toys and leaves. They got nothing else to shoot with a 35mm F1.8 ah? It is F1.8 and it can go anywhere and shoot anything! Quite disappointed with their sample shots lor.
oic.. tongue.gif ..misundersttod..hehe...i also hope i got that 35mm F1.8....hehe...anyway, for meantime, i will just learn to maximise my current lens... drool.gif drool.gif

i found that my 50mm F1.8 is really very good and sharp.. tongue.gif ..my kitlens not bad too... icon_rolleyes.gif

thanks! and i thought the bokeh was a little bit distracting but it somehow works. blush.gif

Comparison:

Sony - newer Technology per se, better flare control, plasticky build, DT lens.
Minolta - older Tech, normal 'built-like-a-tank' build quality, full frame lens.

i think the other things should be 'more or less' the same.
*
Sony F1.8 also has closer MFD compare to Minolta and better sharpness overall but it just for APS-C camera only

ahpingko Wei... this supposed to be alpha forum ler... Quick add some related content to your post above or the mods may decide they are unhappy over the post.

In order to save myself here are some related topics:

If you guys are not planning to get FF, you all should get the 50mm f1.8
It's a great little lens that's sharp, cost effective and has overall better IQ than the Minolta 50mm f1.7
