i wish i had those on my tables too...
but on the other hand, for the price that he's paying, he could have gotten canon 60d or nikon d7000 with a kit lens n some minor accessories
it's because of sony's aggresive pricing that made all the additional purchases possible

do you think it is advisable to use 18250 as the multi purpose lens for all occasions? i tried 50mm but not sure how to make good use of it =O
*
the advantage of the 50mm f1.8 is the wider aperture compared to f3.5-f5.6 of the 18mm-250mm
you might wanna learn more on aperture control then you'll love the 50mm
google for bokeh biggrin.gif

just pay a visit to SonyStyle in KLCC
they always have new stuff first

btw, i really respect master albnok for his contribution to the alpha community
all the testing, reviews etc benefited the global alpha community
what he did was really professional, and he's doing it for free!

btw, i am kinda sick of getting the same question over and over again from my friends, colleagues..and camera shop... "Why dont you get Canon/Nikon?"
*
i kinda get irritated with that questions too
i guess it's the "stereotyping" mentality in many people

the silica gel provided will change to pink color when it gets moistured enough. to dry it, you can either put it in an oven or let it dry naturally where it becomes blue.
you can buy those silica gel from camera shops and cosway for easy replacement.
*
dry it naturally? how?? under the hot sun?

i'm not sure
but GIMP is always compared to photoshop when it comes to image editing
in fact, that's the free alternative to photoshop that people always go to

OT:
not sure if i'll have anything, haha
gonna look for sponsor plus funding during this summer
aiming for alpha-fifty-five

IMO, GIMP should be as good as photoshop just like any other open source software like openoffice

i used to play with backtrack 4, hehe
i heard linux based OS has some really good features if you know how to utilize it icon_question.gif
