Well, if you're using Unifi and you're having very slow downloads but websites and emails work fine, the reason is simple. They are throttling your line, either that or the download server location is at a slow internet connection area and you're browsing high bandwidth servers.

Source is ANY maxis FTTH brochure you can find. Take a look at the fine print.(it isnt very fine). If you believe that when maxis is capping their users that TM will continue allowing their users to enjoy uncapped traffic then you must really be ignorant to the way things are run in Malaysia.

Streamyx is uncapped, but extremely unstable. 4Mb line I have done check my speed on a bad day and I only got 16kB/s.

Everyone should just shove Unifi back in TM's face! They are monopolizing bloodsuckers who do not deserve your support.
