Hi guys need some info in this lawyer thingy


going to buy a property, 2nd hand at Bandar Mahkoa Cheras, problem is my cousin brother is a lawyer and i wish to use his service, owner has his own lawyer and refuse to use mine ? can i get both to quot me 1st and show to the owner which ever lower ? i do not know if this is possible to just ask a quot from lawyer 1st ?

any also i heard if both owner and buyer use different lawyer will have problem ? what problem i might face if i opt for my cousin brother and owner still prefer his existing lawyer ? appreciate if anyone could advice me asap notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

Hi guys got problem with my LAWYER !!!!!! doh.gif


They quoted me S&P and loan agreement fees, where I've ask for discount since it's higher then outside market, after discounted we agree and proceed with the arrangement.

I pay my S&P fees and got everything done, now going to the 2nd step, they ask me to collect my document for KWSP withdrawer and at the same time sign loan agreement letter, however they said I now have to pay 800 more cox they do not know that I'm using a ISLAMIC LOAN where there is 3 MORE PAPER DOCUMENTATION[/b],


I wan to know are they allow to do this ? increase all of the sudden, if they have told me need 800 more when i give my offer letter from bank for them for the S&P, i might have already go for the other Lawyer !!!!


If it's true that Islamic loan need more fees, how could it be RM800 so much ?? just for 3 additional paper ??? What can i do ? as i do not wan to delay my purchase and got the key late ???? please help cry.gif cry.gif

You haven't mention out which bank you get your loan.

For HSBC Loan, it is confirm that there is extra document need to prepare compare to conventional loan. Depend on how much loan you take as well.

Even you change it to conventional loan, you will not entitled for 20% Stamp Duty discount extra. I would suggest you to continue it with Islamic Loan as it balance up with extra legal fees.  thumbup.gif

It's Alliance Islamic Fully Flexi Loan .... even if there is additional cost.. HOW COULD IT BE RM800 SO MUCH DIFFERENT ? then again WHY TELL ME 3 WEEKS AFTER ?????
