Hey, would like to ask if any of you downloaded the application "Angry Birds" from getjar after its release?

I have downloaded it 3 times, but whenever I open the app, there's blank screen but there is a song being played. Is there something wrong with my screen resolution?

Thanks.

Wildfire is a lower end Android devices, I know that Samsung Galaxy S and Desire have no such problem. Could it be due to the specification?

RovioMobile states that they will roll out an update to make the game working on lower resolution phones (QVGA).. it would take a while but surely it will come. The current version released is for higher resolution and not yet for QVGA devices

Not because of lower resolution, its CPU compatible issue.............
TS must using the 528MHz msm7225 processor, this processor has no GPU, missing texture (white screen) has not only happen in this games

Yes agree wth you...CPU problem with the graphics renderer not supported
To make it the game run at least must support Open GL ES 1.1 or 2.0
Angry Birds game doin fine in my Motorola Milestone thumbup.gif

That's why I don't understand why HTC want to roll out all the low end Android devices like Wildfire, Aria, etc ... a lot of people buy the devices for the look and feel but doesn't know the specification. End up some apps are not able to be supported.

It's also troublesome for developer to take consideration of so many type of requirements for their apps.

Like the new release by Maxis Motorola Backflip is also another low spec Android phone. It's running on Android 1.5!!!! Why it still exist I wonder?

Its about having a big range of devices from lower end (very affordable but better compared to feature phones) to high ends phone with powerful cpu and gpu..

Not working on X10 either, most likely due to Android 1.6.
