the second most expensive area to renovate is bathrooms.... the sizes is kinda small but can used up to 5-6k of ur resources. this include the hacking, tiles, manpower costs, wc, piping, wiring, basin even rubbish also can cost u few hundreds buck. of course this is for general size bathrooms..... tiles will play a big roles on the total costs... of course this price is the max that i can invest in my bathrooms. just see what is ur specification, normally the contractor will ask u to provide the tiles for them. this is bcoz they do not want the hassle to go showroom with u and wait for 2-3hrs for selecting the tiles and beside u will know the costs of the tiles instantly and cannot earn money from the tiles so not worth it right? at the contractors point of view

are you planning to change your basin, w.c, taps, heaters and etc? If yes, just these stuff may cost you RM 1k-2k depending what brand u r choosing. If u r planning to change your toilet bowl (W.C) u can consider Johnson Suise, we are having stock clearance this month

it should cost you not more than 5k if you are requiring a standard bathroom. depends on what item in your bathroom. wc is cost around 3++ to 6++. you might hired direct to the labor, which mean you will have to buy the material your ownself. hehe

QUOTE(epalbee3 @ Oct 17 2010, 12:17 AM) mine is 2 bathroom, but if you use branded wc, basin, tap etc... of course is only enough 1 bathroom loh...... remember the tiles that i mentions? the price of the tiles also can range from rm 1- 8 per piece. so that's means everything done for my bathroom should not more than 6k (very tight budget). FYI, i used china made wc, china made basin, china made water tap, tiles i have no idea what i used, workmanship also indon worker |

i would assume, tiling is 6ft high? remove all 1,5 ft x 1,5 ft x 2 = approx. 700 RM
redo tiling: workmanship approx. 250 RM fit the rest: approx. 200 RM plus tiles, fittings as you like. just a rough guess. but not too costly since you're only looking at the toilets and not showers/large area. |
