today got a chance to test Nokia Music Player for S^3.
Honestly, it's a new experience. Totally different from NSeries Music Player (N97, 5800, X6, etc) and ipod too.
It harness the S^3's hold to right click function. The main view is for album and artist. Those who purchase music from itunes, amazon or other online store will not having any problem to view their lists of songs.
but if you guys are tend to support.....*-__-*, well, it will look totally horrible IMO. To fix this, tag your songs properly....

Well, I managed to stuffed some 1193 songs (all tagged properly with album art) into the my N8 and a very2 minor lag detected.
When viewing "Recently Added" list, album art will take approx. 1-1.5 secs to load. That 1193 songs occupied about 9.1GB of my internal memory.
The way they design the UI, it's like to persuade you to hear and appreciate an album. I never really had to enjoy the whole album before. Because they like 'hiding' abit playlist context menu in this new music player and sooner or later people will tend to hear the whole album, not just some 1-2 singles only.
The quality of sound, I think it's on par with my previous X6. The loudspeaker also produce the same sound quality, although its a MONOSPEAKER.
When plugged into my WH-501 headset, there are no obvious difference between X6 and N8. Same.
BUT if if plugged into my RM80 SonicGearCapAyam spaker, the sound loudness N8 produce are quite noticable compare to my X6. FYI I suse X6 32GB version before.
This is my opinion since I stuffed my N8 with albums, not some compilations of today's hits or some untagged and horribly managed songs.
