Yeah, from Sarawak. Went to Kuching for diploma and now in KL pursuing my final year degree. Tough with different surroundings.

I miss Kuching alot, especially the foods, beaches, and friends!
Currently taking Degree in Computing. Diploma- ( Spoonfeed) Degree- (Research and do it yourself). Btw, got one time I'm having my dinner at Desa Setapak. I ordered Tomato KuehTiaw. They don't even know what I'm taking about. I guess i think too much. LOL. So embarrassed. This post has been edited by Kiki-Lala: Oct 20 2010, 02:22 AM |

Being away from home to Kuching for 3 years. I got used for that. Try to be independent, half study half work ( just to earn some side pocket money since i got alot of free time). But I did travel back to home(Bintulu) between 2 or 3 months once back then.
Sadly now in KL, should be once a year to travel back home. KL seems scary sometimes. I don't even dare to bring my SLR when I go out. Alot of snatching cases going on. Be safe than sorry. |

I always observed the surroundings when I'm at the place. In the LRT i prefer to stand than sit, so that i can scan around. Better keep myself safe as I'm the only female among the siblings. =.=

Mostly i would lean next to the LRT door. easier to scan. But I scanned alot of weird expression everytime I'm on LRT. Too lucky I guess.

Just weird and funny. Sitting alone smiling. Some mumbling the station name reversed, some just keep observing at the person next to them and yet there's notes on his hand where he got out from his bag to read.

It's awkward when you're in a crowded LRT and you got nothing to look at. Mostly i would look at the station board in the LRT. hahahaha. Imagine I need to stare that for 20 minutes+ everytime I sit on it.

I sit monorail unless I wanna go to Times Square, Sungai Wang etc. Monorail can be squeezy during peak hours and weekends. Rarely go out these days because it's hot!

Nikon thread doesn't have much info. A bit like an inactive thread. But Canon seems lively but most of them discuss lenses. Red ring. Hehe.

They should really combine it but they said it's a different level camera. I wondered those discussion threads are use to share info not only discussion the specific camera too. Pity Nikon. I should jump ship liao. LOL.

My cousin wanted me to jump to Sony since he's a Sony user and one of the Lowyat member too. He doesn't know my existence here. Hahaha. Too bad i'm eying on Nikon before getting my first SLR.
