RnB , hmm. Nelly - Just a Dream? Not sure. Mostly listen to Jazz, Pop etc. Stick most of the time with Michael Buble.

Agree.

Take for example Taio Cruz. His songs 2 years back were really good.

Now..really...bleh...

I listen to English songs all the time mostly indie...korean songs are creeping in because its catchy...malay/indo songs sometimes...

Now many people addicted to Korean songs. My lil bro can listen to i-dont-know-what-the-heck SNDS, Big Bang etc? Those are hot songs. Hahaha.

Some Malay/Indon songs are nice. Learn to listen when I was back in Kuching.

Korean music are so Americanized, but they're reliving the type of music popular in the states a decade back.

Definitely hot because of catchy tunes and eye candy. LOL.

oh..you're Sarawakian?

@Sky

Oldies are gold. Nobody can top Bee Gees man. Even the younger generation has admitted that to me.

The music industry is going thru an 80's phase. Pretty bleak decade.

Oh ok cool.

Definitely different surroundings. KL is definitely a concrete jungle.

Kuching is more laid back, much more peaceful. ppl are nice.

I miss Kuching alot, especially the foods, beaches, and friends!

Currently taking Degree in Computing. Diploma- ( Spoonfeed) Degree- (Research and do it yourself).

Btw, got one time I'm having my dinner at Desa Setapak. I ordered Tomato KuehTiaw. They don't even know what I'm taking about. I guess i think too much. LOL. So embarrassed.

It's a big gap. Dip and Degree.

Must be a culture shock. LOL.

Kuching is awesome because the weather is much cooler than the other places i've been to in Malaysia.

Bet you miss the Sarawak Laksa...haha best.

Laksa and Kolo Mee song song song! At least I got my 2 brothers over here to guide me. Yeah, once I came here there's alot of WHY WHY WHY up and down and they got annoyed! LOL

Can't fly back to Kuching during school holidays. Ticket expensive. No luck sad.gif But then what I like in KL is you can shop alot of stuff compared to Sarawak. (camera stuff etc).

For KL, being able to shop for anything is given. haha.

Kolo Mee....I bet most of the people reading this thread donno what we're talking about haha.

It's all about the food.

Lucky you having your bros around, it's a big adustment to move from Kuching to KL. I know some ppl from smaller places just cry the moment they step foot in KL.

Can be a definitely scary place, but its no different than other big cities as well.

Being away from home to Kuching for 3 years. I got used for that. Try to be independent, half study half work ( just to earn some side pocket money since i got alot of free time). But I did travel back to home(Bintulu) between 2 or 3 months once back then.

Sadly now in KL, should be once a year to travel back home. KL seems scary sometimes. I don't even dare to bring my SLR when I go out. Alot of snatching cases going on. Be safe than sorry.

That's KL for you.

I put my hands in my pocket all the time when I'm using public transport.

One important thing is never have anybody touch you(not in a perverted way) when you go out in crowded places.

It's one of the tactics used to distract you when they want to pickpocket inconspicuously.

normal la.

I always observed the surroundings when I'm at the place. In the LRT i prefer to stand than sit, so that i can scan around. Better keep myself safe as I'm the only female among the siblings. =.=

That's actually the opposite of what I would do.

Sitting down you just need to focus 180 degree, standing up need to scan 360.

Mostly i would lean next to the LRT door. easier to scan. But I scanned alot of weird expression everytime I'm on LRT. Too lucky I guess.
