Sorry to bash but if Inspira is anything to be proud of, why not join the already established Lancer GT club instead of creating an Inspira club? Since both are the same ma. Just change the badge only.

Buyers of the Inspira are so much better off cos they got their "Lancers" at a much cheaper price. Go on, join the Lancer GT club and be one big happy family. I'm sure you guys are very welcome there.

Just a suggestion la..of course you guys have the right to start an Inspira club also....

Well, butthurt or not depends if you are the original Lancer owner or not I guess. Its the same if you ask Louis Vuitton to go to Petaling Street, do you think he won't get butthurt?

Taman, this is an INSPIRA "owners/fan" club. So I think you are wasting your time talking politics and rhetorics to these people. They already have their minds set on this car and they will defend to their death for Proton. I am sure if you are a future owner of this car, you will also not like people talking bad about Proton, right?

Like some suggested, if you wanna rant, open a new topic and I am sure that a lot of like minded people will support you and contribute to your topic. Heck, I will be one of them

Did you guys realize the Inpira ad in the papers did not even mention "Lotus Ride and Handling"? It was stated "Proton Ride and Handling".

Why? Maybe this is why:



Is it because engineers "trained" under Lotus Engineering tweaking the suspension is not the same as Lotus tweaking it? If not, why they don't dare to put "Lotus Ride and Handling"?

Anyway, kenji, i concur with you. I feel that it's just Proton's poor excuse to justify this rebadging move.

"Now everyone can own a Lancer!" yay.....

Tony Fernandes must be proud that his tagline can be used on Proton too....

Then why do they use "Lotus Ride and Handling" on other ads and not this? If they are so proud of injecting "lotus" elements, then they should have put it as Lotus Ride and Handling.
