Undoubtedly, Proton's technology is still far from competitors. When Proton introduced their first campro engine, people just say it's junk and not even close to any honda or toyota engine. When proton came out CPS, people still bash saying its not as good as ivtec or vvti. Now proton has borrow MIVEC. People still bash because there is no identity of it being created by proton and they are just borrowing tech. Endless argument. People just don't see they are trying to bring a good car down with a good price tag. I for one support the move of rebadging. Screw the R&D. Make full use of the money and keep the car price down and at a competitive range. We're paying too much on cars.

its the same as Lancer GT. The last time I went for a ride with the sales guy, he whack the lancer GT like no tomorrow. The sound is identical i can confirm that.

Correct term: keyless entry means you have remote unlock feature on the door. Start without key is called keyless start. Most all cars come with keyless entry but not all comes with keyless start.

in Europe and us, they still use the term because not all cars come with such feature.
