Fc for Inspira 1.8 will be 1l = 15.8km
Fc for Inspira 2.0 will be 1l = 11.8km  shocking.gif

Any teh tarik session for all new car owner?  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
fuel tank capacity = 59 litres
Fc for Inspira 1.8: 59 x 15.8 = 932.2km
Fc for Inspira 2.0: 59 x 11.8 = 696.2km

that's kinda big difference... shocking.gif

Current Petrol Price
RON95 petrol: 59 x 1.85 = RM109.15
RON97 petrol: 59 x 2.10 = RM123.90

teh tarik session after we get our cars first la... smile.gif

for our local weather and fuel type also traffic condition ,
the UK spec not very accurate.
it should be 20%+- more fuel consumption compare to UK.
*
googled a bit about our big bro's FC and found this...
http://www.oneshift.com/pdb/lcmuserfc.php?pid=1248

it didn't state 1.8MT/AT's FC (Mitsubishi didn't bring in that model into our neighbour too) but i believe it should be slightly better than the 2.0?

sorry terbalik i was thinking of km/l instead i type l/km its 15.9km/l....if 15.9l/km = to h2 hummer lol

according to my calculation you should be able to get 900++ km for 59 ltr
*
if that's true, that is some crazy FC for a non-hybrid... from kl go penang and come back and still got enough petrol to go rayau-rayau... thumbup.gif

But RM1658 is kinda low. what is the gearbox spoilt? CVT didnt come cheap.
*
i think that should come under warranty rite? RM1658 is for the usual maintenance and "serviceable" parts...

QUOTE(RahXeph0n @ Nov 3 2010, 12:38 AM)
I'd place my bet on the Lancer GT, because the Inspira is more tuned towards balance of comfort and handling on Malaysian roads. The lancer with its 18inch rims will have a slight edge IMO. Of course, if one driver is chicken and the other has balls of steel, then the winner is decided even before the race.
*
hard to say... Inspira might have a slight edge due to the smaller rim IMO... tongue.gif

http://www.caranddriver.com/features/10q1/...ested-tech_dept

bigger rims could mean heavier set of wheels...
Handling wise, i would give the edge to Lancer, due to the suspension setup for a more aggressive driving style...

but all in all, driver skill is utmost important... definitely will lose if that someone driving either the Lancer or Inspira doesn't know when to accelerate/brake/driving line/etc... smile.gif

Unless that someone is the Stig and he tests both the Lancer/Inspira on a track, we'll never know which car will win in a track. rclxms.gif

Like I said earlier before: please drive safely & responsibly.

Racing dangerously and ego-boosting will not benefit anyone; doesn't matter whichever car.
Once you accident, or worst, you die, it will hurt not just you, but everyone around you.

Just friendly advice maa nod.gif

+1 i wholly agree... but track racing i believe is fine if all regulations are followed right? blush.gif like Sepang Open Track Day...

For those who are preparing for their engine break-ins, maybe you could read up these articles ... find it a good read and great info

http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm

http://www.ntnoa.org/enginebreakin.htm
*
thanks for the article... very interesting read (tho i didn't read everything... tongue.gif) but from the gist of it, i get it we should "break-in" the engine harder than we usually think? that sounds good... brows.gif boleh vroom vroom... but hav to change the oil and oil filters quite early rclxub.gif
