What is there in inspira for us to be proud of?
We are like copycat only.
Body, engin, technology belong to Mitsubishi.
Show me the Proton addon that we can be proud of.

tell that to perodua and naza. no need to create a new account and start bashing here.

naza and perodua started with rebadging and continue rebadging...

proton started with rebadging, failed, and then continue rebadging after 25 years...

different...

QUOTE
According to Datuk Syed Zainal, Proton intends to focus its R&D budget on its core models. Proton is still recovering from its “dark days” and the new management led by Datuk Syed Zainal and Datuk Nadzmi Salleh is still working hard to bring the company to where it once was. It needs to re-invest its precious profits into the high volume products which are cars like the Saga and the Persona replacement, which DSZ referred to as the Persona R. The Persona R is already under development and work on the next generation Saga has to start pretty soon if not already as the Saga will likely get its mid-life facelift end of this year or early next year.

This logic is not uncommon in the industry. Aston Martin is rebadging the Toyota iQ as the kind of car that Cygnet is not a core Aston Martin model. Dodge makes big American type of cars and it is not good with small B-segment cars thus it has rebadged the Hyundai Accent as the Dodge Attitude. Honda wasn’t very good at SUVs in the past so it rebadged a Land Rover Discovery Series I as an early Honda Crossroad before the CR-V ever existed. The modern Ford Ka shares platform with the modern Fiat 500, and Ford and Fiat do not share any stake in each other.
Volkswagen sells a large minivan in the US known as the Volkswagen Routan and it’s based on a Chrysler Town & Country, which is also sold as a Dodge as the Grand Caravan. Chrysler and Dodge are owned by the same company but Volkswagen has no shareholding connection with the American company. Coming back to Mitsubishi – they’ve supplied the i-MiEV electric car as well as the Mitsubishi Outlander to PSA Peugeot Citroen. The Outlander is sold as the Peugeot 4007 and the Citroen C-Crosser.

no. what i mean is, (i think i misread it out of context) as own a T or H can consider luxury ride already.. that's what i laugh.
T & H never considered as luxury ride except their high end car. not the normal B sedan model.

Can anyone tell me, will the inspira or lancer GT car be very noisy when they cruise at high speed? like 120kmph to 160kmph?

If it's noisy then both still sucks big time.

since non of the inspira owner (future owner) got their car(s) yet. maybe u should ask the lancer owner at their thread instead.

i think the cabin sound insulation should be about the same (let's hope proton doesnt reduce the quality of sound insulation smile.gif )

Yea wei hopefully proton will improve la, cause I drive proton for few years after i graduated. Thier car is just as noisy as a truck and my intention is to get rid of proton forever in my life cause of the noise issue. bad insulation. But I heard car above 100k mark will not have this issue like altis, chevrolet cruze, bmw, and etc. Hope lancer which is suppose to be above 100k mark ( and inspira is copycat version) won't have such issue... come on proton. give you last chance before i loss my last hope.

IMO, it does. Nowadays FnF is more to baseless claimed and flaming instead of constructive car discussion. nod.gif

Ehh hold on, rm95k for a inspira 2.0 is not paying peanuts. If work oversea and earn oversea, this lancer can be as cheap as below 20k usd. So don't say we are paying peanuts. We all paying hell a lot more compare to the rest of the world.
