MLG streams are free. AFAIK all you need is download their stupid octashape plugin and sign up to their site and ur good to go (i did a live blogging coverage for one of their WoW tournaments way back then)

Anyone having problems with the stream dying out after awhile? Have to keep reconnecting. Stupid tmnet.

ya omg, whitera forgot that collosus can take out forcefields, must be choking bad.

once the vods are out, you should watch idra's games, so intense

huk's game was pretty good too, but it seemed so laggy

I always love his FF placement, too bad gretrop forgot about concussive shell, would have been a nice match if they went to the 3rd series.

Ya, from what I read at TL, he doesn't get much time to practice due to his wife, lol

Slush shouldn't even have rushed for mutas, what a waste, he didn't even have his natural saturated. Poor slush, I hope he gets the next game!

Nice comeback from Slush after that bunker play, really love that baneling attack when drewbie wasn't looking, lol.

He shouldn't have pushed, pretty bad idea without tanks when his opponent had so many speedlings + banelings. Great creep spread too.

Not sure how much practice Nony have so far, but I'm rooting for Huk over Nony as I have not seen that many games from him.

edit : he can't choose LT again cause it has already been picked. Steppes of War, anti zerg map.

Oh man, that sucks, looks like nony has been practicing and everything to get this far, winner of kiwikaki and nadagast gonna face either idra or qxc. then we might even see idra vs huk/nony if he pulls through! gonna be good, though some interviews ago idra said his PvZ isn't his strongest match up right now.

I think I go and sleep better like that, no point watching when it hangs every 3 second. I miss all the battles and event and whatsoever. Can't even hear what day9 said, what i heard most of the time is 2-3 words at a time only, not completed sentence lulz

Don't think there's a point to keep changing ip address now, my bro playing HON at flying spaghetti monster which freaking drains much of the bandwith

wow, range 4 roaches really rape forge FE builds plus negates some forcefield play too, epic wow.

ya...
it even rapes terran...
as long as u have ur micro fundamentals, u can do wonders as they have tonnes of hp and the 2sec delay means higher damage for burst focus fire...

Wow, IdrA on form today, looks like he might even take the Championship.

Good thing about MLG, we can download the replays from the players, so can look at their point of view and check strats too.

Finally IdrA showing us he's not a robot that follows Muta/Ling/baneling into ultra play lol.

Love how he made the creep highway with his overlords and then with creep tumors, really nice play

As day9 pointed out, his tactic really worked on this map, just one Queen and 3 Spine Crawlers to defend early game, and spend all the remaining resources on Hydra. Aggressive + bravo!

he is not a robot...
if u follow korean streams u can see idra does various builds...
his infestor play is among the best...
just that vs terran (and their OPness in the past), he has gotten used to such builds...

he got an early OL speed to make use of vision and creep from btm as zealots are one of the best units vs zerg...

Added on October 17, 2010, 3:26 amday9 and JP jz discussed roach's 4range is on the OP-line

Added on October 17, 2010, 4:30 amnony lost 4-3 (extended double elimination)...
game7 he managed to beat a larger army using phoenix but its not enough =(

hes still terran, is just tht the tactic idra uses is the same as mouzmorrow when he played against HuK..instead of overlord, he build supply depot and bunker all the way with protection of tanks and MMs

that's pretty common on that map...
huk said he thot idra going mutas so he went for blink...
if he had gotten colossus then its different...

btw crowd's reaction on HuK's mothership rush vs select http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWuWQ2smfZw

after the patches of 1.1 i think if im not mistaken, i hv been seeing replays from sc2rep all on HuK against zerg

seems tht the chances of losing in zerg match after a few replay matches are high...just my opinion:)

this is mostly to do toss's early game vulnerability after the zealot change...
b4 patch 1.1, toss's solution to zerg was early pressure with some zealots...
after patch 1.1, toss lost that ability and zerg became the aggressor so toss's went to FE builds (GSL)...
then with patch 1.12, FE builds are too vulnerable so maybe let's see wut are toss's solution to this...

i wouldnt say tht FE builds are too vulnerable specially the zergs..with the defense using spiral, its harder to penetrate for me as its not like 1 spiral but 3 or 4

wut are spiral?
the problem wit the current FE build is that u need to over defend ur expo to survive...
compared to the old FE, u can jz get 1-2 cannons and all army with sentries etc as u can control choke points (roach cant hit u without getting new)...
this changes wit the roach change...
and when u over commit to def, ur main is pronged to mutas/ nydus...

no vods up yet...
should take a week or so to be up on mlg's website (sourced from TL)...

btw some memorable quotes: -
1. "that's halo... dun worry" - HuK when the crowd roared as his rushed mothership just spawned vs SeleCT in the semis
2. "other players are smart, they don't play zerg" - IdrA when he jz roflstomped SeleCT and SeleCT said he needs more zerg training partner

found some games in the youtube searching just "MLG DC starcraft"

and damn they can really micro. select vs idra game was intense. Seen also Idra doing some new tactics here and there like the spine crawler rush with overlord.

roaches range really beats the cannon walling >.>

Kind of dislike the setup in MLG, the crowd is just too near to the players and there are no noise insulation stuff like that. Seemed a bit low class to me. I missed the GSL setup! It will start today right? thumbup.gif
