gotta ask here... i just upgrade my old pc to phenom 555 with asus 870 m/b and saphire 5750

but i'm still using the cheepo powerlogic casing/power with 450w (240w true)

is it sufficient for even normal running?

no need total overhaul.. 1st, change mobo, then only proc..siap
hi there.. im one of ur thread fan..kekeke

shud be enough..
just dont try to oc la i guess..
since u asking in oc thread, changing a better PSU is required to oc.

fyi, even cheap psu wont kaboom easily..it might turn off if not enough power..but i think wont kaboom in when 1st time not enough power to supply.. if repeatedly, chance is high..

thanks,

i have unlocked it to quad, but didnt overclocked it yet.
it seems will autooff when running certain things... like the flash cafe game laugh.gif dun really know why... others so far still good

good power supply expensive doh.gif
btw... can the power supply fit in cheap casing? or i have to totally buy a new good casing?

unlocked eh.
flash games very stress ur proc..
if auto off, means not enough power d.

so better take precautions bro..
good power suply not that expensive.. even <100 can get one..
cheap casing? so far as i concern, all casing able to fit atx (normal sized) power supply unless stated cannot.. like ssf or any other branded desktop pcs.

oki ok.... i'll keep that in mind... time to scout around then.

how about lock it 1st and try reduce the vcore to around 1.25v
see if truly psu not enough power.. or the flash apps itself got problem till pc shut down  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

sorry, a bit noob here, reduce to vcore so that it will reduce power consuption? then test again the apps?
ok ok, i'll test it tomorrow. nod.gif
