How do you make a playlist in Sony Walkman S745? thanks alot!

thanks bro. googled that too. but doesnt work! it says synced, but when i check my player, its not there. ie/ no playlist shown, but the songs are transmitted..bit weird

Sorry dude can't help ya even though I myself use a sony walkman (W995) but I doubt its the same thing.

Use Windows Media Player to create playlist.
Then sync the playlist to Sony.

Are you sure you know where to look for your playlist in the S745?

hey yes. its says 'playlist' but when i click it, it says no playlist...please use a software blahblah..

i used the windows media player method, but still doesnt work.

You do realise that you need to select the TITLE of the playlist itself (on the left column), and not just to select all the songs of the playlist and send it to the 'sync list'?

I am using NWZ-X1060 but I think the method should be the same
I'll use image to help.

Windows Media Player can create a playlist conveniently. (Sorry I'm using the Japanese OS but it should be simple enough with the boxes)

First, drag the songs you want in the list (1), and type the Playlist name(2). After you done typing the playlist, press enter or click somewhere and you should see the playlist on the left side.


Then click on the sync tab (1), drag the playlist (2) and click start sync (3).
Done.

i try it b4 ord...WMP 11 and 12.....all cant.....
winamp can create playlist but at player cant detect the playlist.......
sonic stage cant detect device......
content transfer only transfer song and media...no playlist......
mediago also tried already.... cant....
WalkmanMTP_0.4.2.0 also tried.......player cant detect the playlist.....

lastly i havent try is "X-application" (only have japan version).... i cant install becoz my windows language not correct....mayb have change my windows language and location to japan.....havent try....><

"playlist" is just a very common feature for mp3 player....why make it so troublesome.... ><.....

Are you sure you are doing it correctly?
It should be the same way.

Have you read the User Manual?
Did it come with a disc?

Can you access to your Walkman?
If so, can you see a PLAYLIST folder in it?

ya....same way as u do at wmp......

this player only comes with content transfer software.....
the user manual only teach u how to transfer ur media to ur player using content transfer and WMP.....

i reset and format my player few time ord... to make it factory default setting....

but...when i synchronize using WMP11/12...i dint saw "playlist" folder at my player.....

when sync using winamp, i can saw my playlist file at my player(mean access in thru computer). and it's .m3u format...but mp3 player itself just wont detect it.........

Weird. How did it looked like when you tried syncing the playlist to the player using WMP?
Did it says sync successful or something?

Even after that you don't see a "Playlists" folder in your player? (browse the player with your computer)
