The Resolution set on the Xbox is not compatible to the screen. As such, the screen will not detect the signal especially when u set the xbox to full HD, while the screen is only up to HD. So need to reset the resolution on the xbox

So need to reset the resolution on the xbox unless using the 4years old firmware, u need to reset the resolution. By right, the x360 will auto detect ur monitor, either from hdmi or av. for TS, check your cable. broken hdmi port rarely happens

I would also suggest checking the HDMI cable. My xbox can only detect the cable that I bought to use with it. If I used the cable from my PS3, normally it won't work as well.

got the same problem here... mine got sound but no display at all.. i suspect it is more on the software problem not hardware.. since it happens when i've changed the resolution to full HD.. sadly i cant repair it myself, have tried to reset the console but still no image... just send it to more expert ppl at shop yesterday... see in a week if they can repair it...

aha... its already been repaired.. but i've no time picking it up from the shop yet.. it has been there for about a month already.. they said there's something wrong with the chipset.. and they replace it with a new one... which means that i can play latest game with it.. i'll update more once i already tested it..
