I personally think its a gud idea but of cos ther r pros and cons..
Ultimate reason is tat its loads cheaper.. weighed by d other side of - no warranty..

Definitely worth! The guys here overcharge way too much. I got my mitsu 3800 from US. I know it's a gamble, but if something does go wrong, there's a ton of guys here who can fix it, although at a small fee.

If you take proper care of your projector, it is very unlikely that it is gonna cause problems

hmmmm......if the savings is good then its worth. i doubt we have to repair it under a year.

I guess we all agree that d sellers here are fightin a difficult battle..
Sum brnds like pannys only offer a one yr warranty which in like 99% of d time is unlikely to gv any prblms at all. Epson offers 2yrs here .. if not mistaken.. dunno much abt d other brnds ..
And if u counter on wats d askin prc in d US then its a foregone conclusion..
2.1kusd against rm13k for d panny ae4k is one example..
3k usd [strt is cheaper] for d jvc d-ila hd 250 - against god knws how much tis cost here in Mal??
