the hokkien language is very ancient, some said it derived from Tang Dynasty, the pronounciation.. i dunno, but it is true the current mandarin language have so much influence of manchu era during Qing dynasty

previously one of the founder of China today Sun Yat Sen arrived in Penang..
i think he want to study the language of ancient chinese language (since peranakan is very anti manchu, the first wave of chinese in Malaysia, they didn't even want to wear "tocang" as what u saw in Jet Li Kung Fu movie.. they said it is manchu people culture.. so anti with manchu people.. dunno why)

but then the founder of china country now choose mandarin which heavily have influence of the manchu era.. its not easy to change people culture as the manchu era is 268 years, same like us la.. so many hundred years under british influence, u think very easy to change ka? ONLY A VERY STRICT AND EVIL LEADER LIKE ADOLF HITLER (from Germany) and MEIJI EMPEROR of JAPAN can successfully changed the culture of their own in just couple of years.. others take so many years even hundred of years.

during the time of Sultan Mansor Shah of Kesultanan Melayu Melaka, when he married Puteri Hang Li Po from China (Ming Dynasty, i didn't remember the name of china that time.. as far as i know china name derived from qing/ching dynasty.. the british colonial like to make fun with qing/ching name with phrase like "hey u bloody chink" (meaning very weak), the qing/ching dynasty name is what make the china name nowaday.. as far as i know).. the followers and family of Puteri Hang Li Po look like speak in hokkien language and perform the peranakan people.. the year is above 1500.

I can't deny that hokkien culture really influenced malaysian culture today from food to bahasa melayu.. and same goes to current hokkien language.

if study from language, then we will know that ancient Japanese language have connection with Hawaii language and also Bahasa Melayu + the influence of chinese words that look like originated from what hokkien people speak in Malaysia.. it is 1,000 years of civilization.. the British era before this implement the DIVIDE n RULE idealogy so that the new group of what some malaysian politician calls "pendatang" will not kacau their plan to rule the colonized nation.

majority of Malaysian chinese.. even in whole South East Asia people is hokkien and hakka people.

what i know, hokkien people arrived in Malaysia since year 1500++ (usually they are a very noble people or business people),
while the Hakka people arrived in Malaysia and South East Asia around year 1800++.. the record so far

during ancient days Hakka people very fierce la.. they always wanna rebel, have somekind of warrior blood in their vein..
and one of the cause why manchu era, Qing dynasty collapsed in china.

mandarin = "speech of officials", can trace back its history during the manchu era

about japanese.. in ancient days they adopt chinese education.. so no wonder la


before meiji emperor time, japanese admire chinese education system before they made their own japanese education system (japan+german+dutch+english+usa+chinese)
