QUOTE(rockefeller @ Oct 30 2010, 05:55 PM) usually a normal card's credit limit can only go as high as 10k for classic. for gold, nothing more than 100k. platinum and above, can even reach 1 mil. Not really, Citibank & Maybank classic card limit can be as high as 30k. HSBC,Standard Chartered Bank & EON Bank gold card limit can be more than 100k. For platinum card, nowadays credit card issuers only offer as high as 300k-500k. Credit card with 1 million credit limit is possible but it will be very very rare. Will the bank approve my other credit card because of my current card using fixed deposit? Someone experienced in banking profession field clarify please, Thank you! The credit card issuer will know it from your CCRIS report if your credit card is pledged under fixed deposit.

Anyone have idea how to get invitation for RHB Bank Visa Infinite card other than placing huge fixed deposit with them? I know few of them with existing RHB Bank platinum card with more than 100k credit limit get the invitation. However, when call in to enquire with their CS, they have no idea at all.

OCBC Bank Singapore had launched World Elite Mastercard which by invitation only. Card annual fee S$1500. Citibank Singapore re-launched their Ultima credit card which also by invitation only for individual with minimum S$5million assets under management. Card annual fee as high as S$3888. Looks like Singapore is full of high networth individuals.

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Dec 9 2010, 04:49 PM) Did any of you check your CCRIS lately ? I just went to BNM to print my latest CCRIS and found out the last 4-digit of my HSBC credit card is wrong. The Citibank one however, is correct. FYI, HSBC CC use different format to update CCRIS. The account number in your CCRIS will different from your actual HSBC CC card number. Nothing to be worried....
