From their website, it seems there are 3 packages to choose for the Younique card: Rebates, Rates and  Rewards. For Rebates, theres up to 2% cash back (without any restriction, except the spending range from 2k - 5k, i think) and for Rewards, there is double Timless Bonus Points. The down side is you can only CHOOSE 1 "package" out of the 3 options.
Last time the Rebates option gives you both cash back and Timeless Bonus Points but it seems that it gives only cash back now.

Your combined CLs from different banks will be treated as potential debts and thus affecting your loan repayment capability.

but when i wanted to apply for my 2nd loan last week, i repeated ask the officer, he said is fine as it appears 0 outstanding debt in the ccriss... (dong get me wrong, not wanting to argue here, just stating my findings)

true, but if you always pay in full and no other outstanding credit facilities, your loan app shud hv no prob

my total CL almost = my annual salary (previously exceeded, but request to reduce CL for 2 of the cards), but I still manage to get housing loan from 3 banks recently (applied 3 banks only)

of course, if you don't need the CL, reduce it

It depends on the loan amount you would like to apply for. If the amont is not big and it is well within your repayment capacility, you could get the loan approval easily.

If you choose Alliance Younique "rebate" option, you can still get both cash back and bonus points. Only the "rate" option does not give any bonus points.

Actually the statement given by the CS is true. It is positive is you wish to look at your credit repayment discipline.
The other angle will be a concern should you decide to take on a home loan, etc where credit worthiness is evaluated then you might get stuck as your net worth is a huge gap against your "perceived" credit. Don't compare CC credit against big ticket debt such as home loan because the bank can liquidate your house (and house is deemed as assets) for loan recovery purposes. They can't do the same if you default on your cc payment and recovery is harder.

I know this is difficult to understand to some but in short some personal debt is OK but to overdo the debt will not be good on you.

which is why, in short, having huge CL or lots of CC doent affect the hsing loan application. You got the point that, in housing loan scenario, the bank can resort to auction of the property if one fails to make repayment.

Is he always going to owe the bank money ? I mean not paying in full every month ? Because the Alliance Bank Younique MasterCard rate card doesn't give any Timeless Bonus Point or cash rebate.
*
I think yes he's gonna owe bank money coz he said he want credit purpose. If younique rate card doesn't earn bonus point the i think affin bank is more suitable for him. Am i right?

No. That is definitely not a Platinum card.

This really is a Platinum card actually. Just a much lower standard Platinum card. You only need a mere RM48k/pa of salary or an existing Gold credit card with a minimum credit limit of RM10k to qualify for this card.

Hmm... thanks for the info... i was in 1U the other day and the agent keep asking me to get that card saying it's a plat. I was curious since my gold card is less than 10k and they prompt me for the One Plat Card...

thanks for the information smile.gif

you must be really exited as your post above is like a sms msg. haha

just want to tell you to activate the card and tell CS you going overseas (coutries you may use your card) to avoid your transactions not being successfull or them calling you on your mobile to confirm (and you paying overseas rate for the call).

Oh yes @leozai

Quite a fair bit of places in Taiwan would impose a surcharge when you use your credit card. Do take note of that as it means your purchases would be more expensive.
